More practice at painting with a more painerly, natural style. I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy lately, in preparation for Lightning Returns, so I thought it would be fun to imagine a Final Fantasy villain. Her name is Nion Alexi. I would say more, but damn am I tired. Maybe I'll whip up a quick bio tomorrow.
Someones artwork is getting exponentially better. I'm so glad. It's been a long time coming to see this. You'll only get better. I'm just sitting here idly curious as to when you will whip this stuff up like its nothing. Good job.
Thanks Lol, I don't know about 'exponentially' better. I feel like I made a small step forward with this piece, though it honestly doesn't actually show here. The rather nice quality (for me) of the shading and highlights disappeared once I added color, no matter how I messed with the color settings. Regardless, I am very proud of how far I've come.
Dude, I've been watching you ever since you taught me how to write better. To say that you haven't become exponentially better would be calling me crazy. You just don't realize it because you're the person drawing it. I see it on the other hand. Your depth in the drawings has improved quite a lot. Your style has been refined. Your colouring needs a bit more work and more detail. Other than that, you are great!
Lol, I just meant that I haven't been getting that much better lately. I've focused much of my attention recently on trying to learn to paint rather than just using cel-shading. I just don't post most of them because they're horrible. This is honestly the best I've done, and it's not really good at all. It has ended up halting some of my progress in other areas. But regardless, thanks so much for the compliments I don't get such acknowledgement for my hard work very often at all.
Hey man, I give praise where i see fit. you got a natural talent for art. I wish my talent wasn't being strewn across several different mediums, (Drums, Remembering songs by heart, drawing, writing, etc...) Otherwise mine would be getting better too. >.<
I personally wish I had more time to focus on growing other skills. I do better when I can jump around between several different things.
Then start back on your writing again. I'm sure doing something that you're already good at will keep the juices flowing.
